Jeannie Gordon (She/Her)
Executive Director.Director of the Ministry of Parenting CIC, Jeannie Gordon QN, RMN, BSc (Hons), PGCE, MA. is the Senior Project Development Practitioner for the Incredible Years projects. Jeannie trained as a psychiatric nurse with both residential and community experience of working with young children, adolescents, and their families. Since 1987, she has worked in a multi-agency setting offering a variety of parenting programmes; these include all the Webster Stratton Incredible Years Parenting Programmes. Jeannie is the author of the STOP (A Supportive Programme For Parents of Teenagers) programmes. Jeannie is the author of the FLASH (Families learning about Self Harm programme) Co-author of the Pit-STOP programme and SHARPS (Supporting Holistic Approaches - Risk, Parents and Self-Harm) programme. Jeannie is a trainer in Group Skills.
Debbi Barnes (She/Her)
DirectorDirector of the Ministry of Parenting CIC, and Head of Safeguarding. Debbi is the Senior Project Development Practitioner for the Pit STOP and TEEN FLASH project. Debbi studied as a Counsellor, worked with Essex County Council as an Education Welfare Officer and went on to become the County’s first Family Support and Liaison Worker. Debbi is a qualified social worker. Debbi is a trainer in the STOP (A Supportive Programme For Parents of Teenagers) and co-author of the Pit-STOP and the SHARPS (Supporting Holistic Approaches - Risk, Parents and Self-Harm) programme. Debbi is the author of the TEEN FLASH programme. Debbi is also a trainer in the FLASH (Families learning about Self Harm programme) and in the Group Skills programme.
Shelly Steel (She/Her)
DirectorDirector of the Ministry of Parenting CIC, Shelly is the co-author of the Teen FLASH programme. Shelly is a trainer in the STOP (A Supportive Programme For Parents of Teenagers) the SHARPS (Supporting Holistic Approaches - Risk, Parents and Self-Harm) programme, the FLASH (Families learning about Self Harm programme) and in the Group Skills programme. Shelly is developing the FLASH one to one programme. Shelly also works as a CAMHS practitioner in Essex. Her previous experience in the education sector included student safeguarding, behaviour management, and well-being. She then worked at a national children's charity where she supported children who were 'missing' before developing and managing a service to support families whose children were living with or at risk of exploitation. She is a committed member of our team working to provide training opportunities to professionals, which supports their practice and further develops their skills, in addition to ensuring children, young people, and their families have continued opportunities to access the support they need.
Luke Webb (He/Him)
Non-Executive DirectorNon-Executive Director of the Ministry of Parenting CIC. Luke is a registered Learning Disability nurse and has been qualified for 10 years. Luke started his career by supporting adults with a learning disability in both inpatient and community settings. For the past six years he has been working in a CAMHS inpatient unit named Pebble Lodge in Dorset. Luke has facilitated many flash groups in Dorset and aims to build the service and delivery of Flash and STOP courses to ensure that parents and carers are receiving the support that they need. Luke is a SHARPS (Supporting Holistic Approaches - Risk, Parents and Self-Harm) trainer.

Sarah Brazier (She/Her)Sarah trained as a psychiatric nurse with both residential and community experience of working with young children, adolescents and their families. Sarah currently works for the Essex Partnership University Foundation Trust (EPUT) which provides integrated care including mental health, learning disability, social care and community health services.
