TEEN FLASH delivery model

TEEN FLASH is designed to run over 5 dates as the first date is an introduction workshop. This allows the young person to come to the first session before deciding whether THEY want to come to the other 4 workshops. Timings are normally 11.00 – 16.00

Refreshments and lunch are provided, unless the young person want to bring their own.

TEEN FLASH Workshops

We have been very fortunate to of had received project funding from the National Lottery, which supported the Colchester based Teen FLASH group workshops and the development of the TEEN FLASH programme. This project has come to an end.  The success of the project outcomes has led us to develop the Teen FLASH programme group facilitators manual and the Teen FLASH group facilitators training programme.

We have applied for further funding and are hopeful that these programmes will resume soon. However, while we await to hear the outcome of these funding applications we are temporarily unable to accept referrals for Teen FLASH young people’s groups.  This page will be updated with details of upcoming groups, locations, and referral information as soon as funding is confirmed.

We have alongside delivering our groups, we have trained professionals in a range of services in the  Teen FLASH programmes.  Our hope is the dissemination of the training will enable more services across the county and country to be equipped to run these groups.

For parents across Essex please contact the Essex family and Wellbeing services @  https://essexfamilywellbeing.co.uk/services/family-support/ to enquire about the Teen FLASH groups.

Available to all young people is the Teen FLASH website @ www.teenflash.co.uk and we hope that is helpful to parents and young people.

Available to all parents is our FLASH parents resource page @ https://theministryofparenting.com/parent-resources/flash/

Testimonials & Quotes

TEEN FLASH

TEEN FLASH is really informative and helpful and a lot less scary than what you’d expect. Everybody is so kind and you aren’t ever judged, believe me you’d love it. I liked making new friends, being able to trust someone.

TEEN FLASH

I’m really glad that you are running the programme. I learnt a lot of new things about myself and about recovery from the programme and I hope you’ll be able to help many others.
