Incredible Years Basic leader training (2-8 years) Preschool & Toddler Training

Venue- Colchester,  Essex

Training details: This 4-day training will cover both the Incredible Years® basic toddler/preschool group leader programme and the School Aged group leaders programme, plus information on tailoring the Incredible Years® programme for parents with children additional needs. This training will equip group leaders with the skills needed to deliver the programmes.

Format of training: The first 3 days will cover the basic programme (2–8-year-olds). The 4th day focuses on the additional sections of the school aged programme (9-12 years old) and provide extra information on using the programmes with parents of children with ADHD/ASD and/or additional needs.

About the training 

The programme focuses on strengthening parenting skills and consists of components which build upon one another.

• Strengthening Children’s Social Skills, Emotional Regulation and School Readiness Skills.
• Using Praise and Incentives to Encourage Cooperative Behaviour.
• Positive Discipline – Rules, Routines and Effective Limit Setting.
• Positive Discipline – Handling Misbehavior.

Please note the Incredible Years programme manual is not included in the training cost price. This will need to be bought separately see Manuals & Materials
