One-to-one Parent Support

We have taken the difficult decision to take a break from delivering our one to  one work. The reason for this is over the last few years we have had received a very high demand for our group programme work from parents and carers from all over Essex and across the UK. We were concerned with parents having to go on a long waiting list and having to travel miles to access the groups or workshops.  We also had requests for more training for professionals in awareness of the key principles of working with young people who self-harm and their families. Therefore, we are NOT accepting referrals for one to on work at this current time.  Instead, we are concentrating on the group programme delivery and training delivery of the Incredible Years, STOP and FLASH programme and the development of the TEEN FLASH and SHARPS (Supporting Holistic Approaches-Risk, Parents & Self-Harm) trainings. We are also updating our resources and supporting professionals in their local delivery via supervision and logistical support. Our hope is this will enable more services across the county and country to be equipped to deliver groups and inventions to parents and young people.

“Thank you again for another inspiring and informative session. I’m learning so much about myself and my teen that I could never learn from a book or on-line formula.”
